Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you, the customer, and epicgames.co.za managed by Epic Games.  If you visit or shop at epicgames.co.za, or if you create hyperlinks to epicgames.co.za, you accept and agree to comply with the most recent version of this agreement in its entirety.  The agreement in force at the time of your placing the order will apply to that order and its related transactions

We reserve the right to amend this agreement or any parts thereof at any time and without notice.  Amendments to this agreement take effect 24 hours after the agreement has been amended on our web site, and your continued use of the site implies your acceptance of the agreement as amended.

How to Buy

1)      Add your chosen items to the Cart

2)      Once you have all the items you want, click on the Cart Icon to View your Cart

3)      If you are happy everything in the Cart, click Proceed to Checkout

4)      Please ensure that you complete all your details correctly ESPECIALLY the billing address

5)      Choose a payment method and click Place Order. You will be re-directed to the page of your selected payment method where you can                     make a secure payment for the goods.

6)      Once you have done this you have confirmed the conditions of use and the statement of intent to purchase.

7)      You will receive an order confirmation email.

Products:

Products will be shipped as per the stated shipping times (see the Delivery section below). Actual Shipping times will vary and are an estimation only.

The sale shall be completed only when the payment has been processed fully and Epic Games has received the money. If payment fails due to the account not existing, insufficient funds, the credit card number or other information being incorrect etc. the sale is not completed.

Delivery

Orders are sent by courier. Allow three-to-four working days for delivery. Courier deliveries require a daytime address and are only made during business hours. Please note we need full address and contact numbers to expedite this. Delivery is at a cost of R50. Orders over R500 are delivered FREE of charge.

You accept that in order for us to prove delivery of an order, we need to prove that somebody, not necessarily you, collected the delivery from the courier. This is why you must sign for the order when it is delivered. The courier will thereafter send us a copy of the form. Thus delivery will hsve been proven. If a delivery has been dispatched by us and not reported missing by you within six months of us having dispatched it, the package will be deemed to have been delivered without us having to provide proof of delivery.

Should a delivery be returned to us as unclaimed, we will let you know and request that you to make arrangements to either have the parcel collected from us or re-delivered to you. You authorise us to dispose of, or donate, the contents of parcels not collected within six months of such request being made.

Should you receive a delivery where the contents of the package do not match the items listed on the dispatch note included in the package, you agree to notify us without delay and we will not be liable for shortages not reported within seven days of you having received the package.

Delayed / cancelled orders

Most orders are dispatched on time but unfortunately, unexpected delays can occur and we may not be able to dispatch items within the schedule provided.  Items can run out of stock or be discontinued without warning, and we may not be able to fulfil orders for that item.  We will do our best to keep you informed of any unexpected delays, stock shortages or discontinued items.

Returns Policy

Certain items purchased on curtgames can be returned to us for a full refund.  Non-returnable items are clearly marked as “Non Returnable”.  Please contact us at sales@epicgames.co.za  if you are unsure if an item is returnable.  Returns must be received by us within 10 days from receipt of delivery of merchandise. The original delivery charge will not be refunded and the cost for returning the parcel is at your expense. Please include your order or invoice number in the box of the return so that your refund can be processed.

We will not be able to accept the return of an item in the following situations:

  • If we receive a returned item later than 10 days from receipt of delivery of merchandise.
  • if the item is not in mint condition
  • if it is a non-returnable item

In any of these cases we will not be able to process a refund and you will be liable for the costs of re-delivering the item to you. It is your responsibility to package the item securely to ensure that it does not get damaged in transit.

Returns Process

If eligible for return, send us an email stating the reason for return, including clear pictures.

The eppicgamessupport team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, securely seal your return in the same packaging (or similar) in which you received it so as to not damage the actual product packaging in any way.

Please send goods using the South African Post Office to our address: 80 Geneva Drive, Camps Bay, Cape Town 8005.

Goods must be unused, in their original packaging and will be inspected once received. Only once approved will the refund be processed.  Once received, we aim to process all returns within 2 weeks.

NOTE: ALL Refunds will be made by EFT directly to you bank account, regardless of your original method of payment.  We unfortunately cannot reverse Credit Card receipts.

Damaged / faulty or incorrect items

We will replace or swap the item if any item that you receive that is damaged, faulty or where we have sent the incorrect item.  We will usually need you to return the original item to us at no additional cost to yourself.

Please contact us at sales@epicgames.co.za within 24 hours of receiving the item where the item is visibly damaged or not what you ordered.

Prices

The prices displayed are inclusive of 14% VAT, but exclude delivery costs.

We endeavour to ensure that the prices displayed on the website are accurate, but as we manufacture and source products outside of our borders, our suppliers and our materials prices will sometimes fluctuateas will exchange rates. Displaying a price on the website does not constitute any undertaking by us to maintain that price for any length of time. We will always endeavour to complete your order at the price quoted at the time that the order was placed, but in cases of erroneous pricing or where our specially priced item is out of stock, we may be forced to cancel all or a portion of your order and fully refund any advance payments that you have made toward the affected products.

Payments

Payments can be made by Direct Bank Transfers or can be securely managed by PayFast whom offer three ways to pay;

1) Credit Card 2) Internet Banking and 3) Ukash

Agreement of sale / cancellations

An order is placed with us only after you have clicked on the [Place order] button.

Placing an item in your cart does not constitute an order and we cannot be held liable if the item is no longer available, or if the price has changed by the time the checkout process is completed. An agreement of sale comes into effect when authorisation is received by us from PayFast. In this case, we shall be liable to refund any money already paid in respect of that order.

Please note that our website will show an item as being available even if only one copy is available to purchase. If you order multiple copies of the same item, we may not be able to supply additional items at the same price, within the same time frame, or in some cases, at all. Please feel free to check availability with us prior to placing an order that includes multiple copies.

Should you wish to cancel all or part of an order, please send your cancellation request to sales@epicgames.co.za. Please note, however, that we may not be able to cancel items from an order if they have already been dispatched.

 

Governing law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
